The Patel College of Global Sustainability facilitated annual °®ÎÛ´«Ã½ Recycles Day
– a statewide event hosted by °®ÎÛ´«Ã½ Recycling Partnership Foundation and the °®ÎÛ´«Ã½ Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) to promote recycling efforts in °®ÎÛ´«Ã½.
The Patel College of Global Sustainability, in partnership with the University of
East London and the Royal Docklands Center for Sustainability, successfully hosted an online joint symposium entitled “Food Systems, Materials, Ecology, and the Circular ·¡³¦´Ç²Ô´Ç³¾²â.â€
Dr. George Philippidis was awarded tenure at USF in a joint appointment between the
Patel College of Global Sustainability and the Department of Integrative Biology at the College of Arts and Sciences.
Dr. George Philippidis was elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
The Sustainability Career Fair & Expo, a collaboration between the Patel College of Global Sustainability and the USF Career & Professional Development, gathered 100 students from seven colleges and helped them find internships and job opportunities with seventeen companies that attended the event.
The °®ÎÛ´«Ã½ recognized Dr. Thomas Henry (T.H.) Culhane, Climate Mitigation Concentration Director, with the Outstanding Community Engaged Award and the 2025 USF Innovation in Online Design and Teaching Award.
