43 Years of Honors, and We're Just Getting Started

In 2026, USF celebrates its 70th anniversary — a milestone that invites reflection on how far we’ve come. From our founding as a modest Honors program in 1983 with fewer than 20 students to a thriving Honors community in 2026 of more than 2,500 students and nearly 10,000 alumni, we are charting a bold path forward. Follow along for a year-long celebration of Honors milestones, spotlighting key individuals who made the college what it is today, and envisioning growth and innovation still yet to come.
