Tom “Ox” Oxley—kind, humble, and beloved as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ head trainer (1977–1984)—continues to inspire future physical therapists. After his passing on May 12, his daughter Elizabeth Oxley, established the Thomas Oxley Memorial Scholarship in Physical Therapy at USF in his honor.
