Katie Pease, a student in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) online master’s program, has been awarded the 2025-2026 USF Fellowship from Behavioral Consulting of Tampa Bay (BCOTB). The $10,000 fellowship was presented to Pease by BCOTB Director of Clinical Services Heatherann Tenowich.

“I’m incredibly grateful to BCOTB for awarding me the fellowship and for all the opportunities it has provided," said Pease. "Through this experience, I’ve been able to learn so much from my supervisors, who have offered invaluable guidance and support as I continue to grow as a future BCBA."

"We’re deeply proud of Katie for earning this recognition," said Anthony Concepcion, PhD, program chair of the online Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis. "Her commitment to her studies is matched by the passion she has for the clients she serves and reflects the very best of what we hope to cultivate in our students."

The ongoing partnership between the ABA program and BCOTB continues to enhance the educational experience for students such as Pease, offering internships, scholarship opportunities and job placement after graduation.

For Pease, these opportunities have provided both professional growth and peace of mind. “The fellowship has allowed me to focus more on my education and the amazing kiddos I work with, and less on financial stress,” Pease said. “Knowing that I have a job secured after graduation has also taken a huge weight off my shoulders and given me even more motivation to keep learning and giving my best each day.”

“BCOTB continues to be a strong affiliate of the ABA program,” said Concepcion. “Their consistent investment in our students not only supports their development as practitioners but strengthens the broader behavior analytic community.”
