USF Psychology Expo marks 13 years of showcasing student research and opportunity
The Department of Psychology and its alumni proudly hosted the annual Psychology Expo — a premier celebration of student research and discovery. Through engaging posters, lab tours, and presentations, students showcased their achievements and inspired faculty, alumni, and campus partners alike.

Kitija Laksa (Psychology BA 2019) was recently inducted into the USF Athletic Hall of Fame in the Class of 2025. She was a star basketball player at USF. Her accomplishments include leading the NCAA in free throw percentage with a 96.5 percent mark in 2017-18 when she missed just four times in 115 attempts.

CNS doctoral student Tara Perreault was interviewed October 1 on Fox News' Charley’s World in segments on Busch Gardens’ Howl O Scream. Tara gave a clear explanation of the physiological reasons why people enjoy being scared AND gave a great shout out to the CNS program.
